Each year, the annual SIMA Awards honor the best documentaries and XR experiences from 140 countries that stand out in their creativity, integrity, and merit to inspire social change.
SIMA ACADEMY
Serving academic programs, organizations and institutions in 100+ countries, our educational streaming platform features the best short documentaries from our annual awards, empowering over 140,000+ learners and leaders with the global perspectives to shape a more just and equitable future.
TRAVELING SERIES
In collaboration with local leaders, human rights forums, and film festivals across 30+ countries, our year-round community cinema program creates powerful platforms that ignite dialogues, inspire movements, empower marginalized groups, and drive local and global community action from the grassroots level and up.
FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
Our Fiscal Sponsorship program enables creators to raise funds that are tax deductible in the US in any stage of development, production, distribution, exhibition or campaign. We accept applications for all creative projects and from all independent producers, innovators, artists and filmmakers actively working to advance positive impact.

VIRTUAL CINEMA
Are you a filmmaker, artist, conscious citizen or organization looking for an elegant and affordable virtual event space? We have you covered. Public or Private, invite your network to exclusive online screenings, rough-cut previews, panel discussions, fundraisers and more. Engage your community and showcase your work the way you want!
PROGRAMMING
We support festivals, conferences and organizations in the curation, acquisition and asset delivery of their film programs (both virtual and in-person). With a film network that spans 140 countries we are ideally positioned to handle every aspect of your programming needs.

We have worked at the intersection of human rights and impact media for two decades, building relationships with community leaders and organizations on every continent, developing engagement strategies and platforms that serve as catapults for creative projects to create change.
We live by the rules of “responsible impact through creativity” and offer consulting services to projects in all stages from ideation to completion.
